Built on 23 Years of Doing One Thing Well
My name is Nick Mattia. I've spent over 23 years working exclusively in commercial fire doors — inspecting them, installing them, repairing them, and making sure the documentation that accompanies them holds up under scrutiny from AHJs, insurance carriers, and accreditation bodies.
Fire doors are one of the most frequently cited deficiencies in commercial property inspections — not because the doors themselves fail, but because the inspection and documentation process gets handed off to general contractors who treat it as a checkbox. I started Fire Door Services because that approach costs building owners money and puts occupants at risk.
